| Japan's Mitsubishi Chemical has brought to halt operations at a polypropylene unit at its Mizushima plant when some pipes at the unit were caught in fire. The incident took place at Friday midnight and there are no reports of any injuries at the plant, industry sources confirmed. The Mizushima-based 100,000 tpa PP unit will be shut and its restart date is not yet fixed and is expected to take place after approval from the local fire authority. |
