Notes:

The number of live warrants reported accounts for all warrants that apply to material that is good for LME delivery, which has not been cancelled.
The number of cancelled warrants indicates the number of warrants for material that have been taken off warrant but, haven't necessarily been moved from the warehouse. These cancelled warrants are reported on by the LME until they are physically moved from the warehouse.
With plastics there are maximum shelf-life parameters set for deliverable material. Therefore, plastics cannot be placed on warrant if it has been delivered into the storage point more than two calendar months after the month of production. Plastics warrants will time expire on the last day of the tenth calendar month inclusive of the month of production, as determined by the start date of the production batch.
The "Expires in current month" column indicates the number of warrants due to expire in the current month.
The "Expires after current month" column indicates the number of warrants due to expire after the current month.
