The LME has delisted its plastics contracts with the last prompt date for all existing contracts on the
16 April 2011.
The LME publishes daily official plastics prices (both bid and offer) for cash, month 1 and month 2 for all Polypropylene and Linear Low Density Polyethylene contracts. The official prices established are basis open outcry trading at the end of the first plastics Ring trading session of the day (i.e. at 12:25 London time).
From 2 January 2008 LME publishes these prices at 0200 London time for the previous day's trading.
Given below are the LME published daily plastics Official Prices in US$ per ton.
