Construction work on Polyethylene complex at Al Jubail on schedule

Construction work on two new 400,000 tpa HDPE (Hostalen) and LDPE (Lupotech) plants being built at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia is on track. Start up of the plants is planned by end of the year. The complex is a JV between Saudi Ethylene and Polyethylene Co (SEPC), a joint venture of LyondellBasell, and Saudi companies Tasnee Petrochemicals and Sahara Petrochemicals.
