PolyOne Corporation, a leading global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, has announced the inauguration of a new color concentrates manufacturing facility in Kutno, Poland, September 27, 2007.

"This step further supports the expansion of our business into Central and Eastern European countries."
The Kutno facility will manufacture color and additive concentrates for all types of polymer processing activities with a particular focus on PolyOne's primary market segments, which include:. Packaging & Film, Automotive, Electrical & Electronics, Home Appliances, Building & Construction. Initially, the new 6,000 sqm (under roof) facility will house four production lines. Potential for expanding production capacity for other PolyOne products has been considered in the design of the facility.
The City of Kutno is centrally located in Poland, with easy access to all major industrial regions and proximity to the main Berlin-to-Moscow transportation route.
The new plant will be PolyOne's second manufacturing facility in Central Europe. The Company opened its first facility in the City of Györ, Hungary, in 1998. PolyOne has also sales offices in Krakow, Poland, and Prague, Czech Republic.
The new plant is the company's ninth color concentrates facility in Europe. PolyOne currently has color and additives manufacturing facilities in Belgium, Denmark, France (2 plants), Germany, Hungary, Spain and Sweden.
The activities from the sales office in Krakow will be transferred to the Kutno site. Production will begin after the inauguration.
