| In a bid to make full use of its resources to build a 5 mln ton oil refining base in Ningxia, PetroChina Co. Ltd. plans to embark upon consolidation of business, assets and employees of its Ningxia oil refining and chemical branch and Ningxia petrochemical branch. Construction of the 5 mln ton oil processing project commenced in December 2008. To be built at an investment outlay of CNY8.2 bln, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010 and is slated to have capacity of 1.73 mln tpa gasoline, 2.38 mln tons diesel oil, 210,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas and 100,000 tons polypropylene. |
