Thailand's Board of Investment Monday approved granting of tax privileges for 15 projects with a combined value of THB40.58 billion. The Board has granted approval for a THB4.48 billion project by National Petrochemical PCL to produce 100,000 tpa of low-density polyethylene and will be completed in 2007.
The largest of the 15 projects is a THB10 billion cracking unit for local refinery Bangchak Petroleum PCL. The Board of Investment also approved a THB9.74 billion project for building a gas separation plant by PTT PCL.
