The resistance against wear has been the paramount need of the engineering components. Barrels and screws are the most wear prone components in plastics processing. High percentage of fillers is an important reason for wear. All plastics machinery manufacturers have been predominantly using Nitriding as hardening process for these components.
Several advances in the pipe extrusion plants have resulted in enhanced outputs and low power consumption. This situation also demand better wear resistance.
CPVC Twin Lines - Manifold Benefits
CPVC finds its use in a wide variety of applications such as pipes, valves, fittings and associated industrial parts etc.
The quality of CPVC pipes makes them ideal for-
Hot and cold water distribution in residential, industrial and public projects.
Carrying drinking water and food liquids.
Water and waste water treatment systems.
Transportation of chemical and hot corrosive acids and bases.
KET specialises in manufacturing CPVC pipe extrusion plants with strict quality standards. It has developed an easy to follow, advantageous and efficient CPVC twin line which will benefit the CPVC manufacturers immensely. The CPVC twin line has following features.
High outputs with smaller pipe sizes.
Production of two small diameter pipes with different specifications and standards. (pipe dia does not vary significantly.) |
With the help of modern technology, KET offers an innovative cost effective development of bimetallic twin screws (non- welded) to the customers. These screws are coated in wear prone areas with specially developed material and process. This alloy works well with the nitrided barrels. The life is expected to be twice as compared to nitrided screws.
New processes for various applications are being constantly developed. KET is committed to offer newer technology to the customers.
Stringent quality and safety standards achieved.
 Output : Upto 330 - 360 kgs/hr.
Upto 230 - 240 kgs/hr. For ½”CTS Twin Pipe *
 Model : BEX 90 - 25V
KET’s twin screw extruders are capable of giving high outputs. The market demand calls for small diameter pipes of slightly different specification/standards with higher output. (e.g.one pipe with ASTM standard and another with CTS standard).
KETs CPVC twin line will help customers achieve manifold objectives of supplying different products in the market efficiently.
With the help of joint venture partners Battenfeld and American Maplan state of the art technology, KET forms a win win relationship with customers. |
