KET recently demonstrated its Hi-tech 55 mm Three Layer Film Plant for lamination film at its Daman factory. This high output plant produced a special grade metallocin rich lamination film of 30 microns/ 1050 mm LFW with an output of 160 kgs/hr. The film is predominantly used in general purpose flexible packaging.

The film plant comprised of following:
55 mm barrier type screw extruders for fast, uniform and      homogeneous melt quality.
A sophisticated dual lip air ring for enhanced optical and      mechanical properties of film.
Horizontal type oscillating haul off with PLC based      controls.
Large diameter chrome plated turn bars with air cushioning      and large guide rollers for wrinkle free film.
Web aligner for precise winding.
Following recipe was used :

Outer layer : LLDPE 1018CA(40%)+LLDPE F18010(40%)+ LDPE 1020FA20(20%)

Middle layer : LLDPE 1018CA(40%)+LLDPE F19010(40%)+ LDPE 1020FA20(20%)

Inner Layer : LLDPE 1018EA(90%)+LDPE 1005FY20(10%)

The film plant was equipped with a two station semi automatic surface winder with wound roll capacity of 900 mm/400 Kg.

Different models of this high output three layer film plant are offered to suit the customer requirement. The Company has installed more than 250 multilayer film plants in India and abroad, some of them comprise of plants with IBC mechanism.

Customers across India and abroad quite appreciated the plant performance. These film plants are manufactured at KET's state of the art factory at Daman, India.
