Drives & Control : Siemens S7 With Simoreg Drives for the machine and process control, via supervision PC. The evaporation boats are controlled by a separate cabinet with Euro-therm drives.
Machine was installed with Euro-therm Thyristor Unit.
We completely replaced those with latest Euro-therm E-power converters along with new HMI in year 2014.
These are latest technology by Euro-therm.

Number of chambers: 3 independent vacuum chambers with independent pumping systems to increase the efficiency of the vacuum.
Optical control RF: Controls during metallization process the thickness of aluminium coating through photo-metric non---contact sensors.
The system also controls automatically (via step motor) the deposit of aluminium and the feeding of the wire.
Rewinding Unit: Digitally control to ensure an accurate rewinding tension control, via the following five DC motors: Unwinding,Rewinding, process roller (main drive), 2 capstan rollers. Two ceramic plated rollers, 2 bowed spreader rollers, oscillating arm on the rewinder with tension sensing control system.
Handling of the rolls: The machine includes a hydraulically driven robotic handling system, manufactured by ICAP Group, for the loading of the jumbo roll, and unloading of the finished rolls.
This same system also inserts and extracts the air expanding shafts during the loading and unloading procedure .3 air Shafts are included in the supply .
