Hitco Mini and Micro coil heaters are high performance heaters for smaller diameter nozzles, nozzle tips and can also be formed in grooves to create three dimensional heating applications. Due to the small diameter size these heaters are most frequently designed with a pressed on sheath, fitted into brass to serve as maximum heating source. The 1.8 diameter micro tubular heater is formed into a coil of predefined dimension and equipped with a special cover for easy fitting. This special cover called Axial clamp allows front end loading and adjustability. Such easy handling saves hours of downtime in case of heater failure in a multi cavity mould. These heaters are offered with staggered cold leads of 5" and 7".
