Radhekrishna has accumulated a wide range of experience in manufacturing twin screws and barrels (cylindrical or conical). Screw and Barrel is heart of extruder, optimum output ratio, improved reliability in extrusion, lesser wear for screw and barrel and easy maintenance. The perfection of completely intermeshing and self-cleaning screws is demonstrates a particular knowledge, by granting production quality and aiming for the top of efficiency.

Large Size Twin Screw:
We are equipped with a large size thread milling machine. It's manufacturing capacity of single or twin screw is diameter 150 mm and more x 6000 mm long - Below diameter 150mm x 8000 long. This facility is adopted to fulfill the specific requirement of longer screw of our valued customers.

These screws maximize output and minimize melt temperature while adequately homogenizing the polymer melt. Made of nitrided steel, these screws are gas nitrided and coated with special alloy to achieve skin hardness of 65HRC to minimize wear and chemical resistance.

Sleeve fitted barrel with high wear resistance (3 to 4 times then the nitrided) and through hardened sleeves hardness 62HRC to 65HRC. Front barrel section with HSS sleeve to minimize the wear. And the two piece barrel construction for economical replacement.

Large Size Single Screw:
We are supplying the highest technical standard single screw and barrel for all applications and required output. For this particular, we consult customers to identify the best design for their specific end-product requirement and output.

Superior Barrier Screw:
Barrier screws are used to achieve better quality of extrudate material with low melt temperature without lengthening screw. Unmelted resin is drained from the outer screw channel into inner screw channel, where unmelted residue starts to melt. Molten polymer in deeper inner channel results in low melt temperature and low power consumption.

- Made from nitrided material - type En-41-B/34 CrAI N7/14 Cr Mo V9 (from reputed manufacturers like SAIL / MUSCO)
- Heat treatment in to three stages toughening, stabilizing and nitriding
- Skin hardness 65HRC 68HRC
- Thread cutting on very precision milling machine for perfect intermeshing and self - cleaning.
- Screw straightening within 0.03 mm to 0.05 mm no possibility of bending screw
- Screw polishing on special strip belt polishing machine
- All screws & barrels are interchangeable
