- Product description: Masterbatch based on highly pure erucamide slip additive.
- Effect of masterbatch: Reduces coefficient of friction of PE film making the film surface very smooth.
Applications:
Erucamide is preferred over oleamide slip additive because
- Slow migrating hence does not affect subsequent printing and sealing operations.
- Low volatility hence low amide loss during processing, can withstand higher processing temperatures.
- Does not affect bond strength when used in multilayer lamination film in one of the layers.
