Antistatic Agent Masterbatch:
JKP manufacture antistatic agent masterbatch based on highly pure antistatic agent (separate type)
- Effect of masterbatch: Prevents the static charge build up during processing and end use of polythene products. Stabilizes PE foam.
- Applications: Static electricity which is generated during high speed processing of plastics can cause
a. Dust accumulation on plastics end product
b. Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) damaging electronic equipments being packed with such plastics items
c. Fire and/ or explosion.
In PE foam films, sheets, pipes, the additive level depends upon density of foam. Lower density foam requires higher dosage of antistatic agent masterbatch cell structure. Optimum antistatic effect is obtained if relative humidity is above 45 percent.
