Polystarch Masterbatch products have been developed for use in blown film, injection molding and other application of Polyethylene and Polypropylene resins. The Masterbatch contains a patented mix of compatabilizers and additives that alloy the starch to the plastic matrix. These formulations and their potential for use with a broad range of additives give Polystarch Masterbatch major advantages in injection molding, blown film, and many other processes.
Polystarch N - For making degradable film which require no additional prodegradants. "N" stands for nothing added. Mix ratio - 25% POLYSTARCH N - 75% PE Printing - Use water base solution Result - Degradation by bacteria only Polystarch Plus: For making degradable film which requires additional prodegradants. Contains sufficient prodegradant for use in compost bags. Can also be used for agricultural mulch films where greater than 90 days degradation rates are required. Mix ratio - 25% POLYSTARCH H - 75% PE Color - Clear Printing - Use water base solution Result - Degradation by UV, bacteria, and oxidation.
