Polymer Processing Aid Masterbatch based on fluorocarbon polymer processing aid.
- Carrier Resin: PE
- Percentage of active ingredient: 3%
- Effect of Masterbatch: Eliminates melt fracture/shark skin effect observed during or 100% LLDPE films, drip laterals on narrow die gaps (< 1.5 mm).
- Applications: 100% LLDPE films or LLDPE rich blend films. drip laterals.
- Let down ratio: During start-up 2% for first 30 minutes till the melt fracture is eliminated in films, drip laterals, etc. Afterwards 0.5% to 1%
- Further Information: Other advantages of PPA masterbatch when incorporated are Reduces die lip build up, Reduces processing temperature, Increases through put, The use of narrow die gap results in a more stable bubble and tougher film because of faster cooling, PPA coats the die. The coating can get eroded faster if melt is abrasive I.E. containing antiblock, TiO2 etc. in that case, recommended.
