BASF selects OMP Plus for production planning of petrochem divisions in Ludwigshafen and Antwerp

BASF has selected OMP Plus for the production planning of its petrochemicals division in Ludwigshafen, Germany and Antwerp, Belgium. OMP Plus will plan all value chains of the division in an integrated multi-site and multi-user environment. All transports between the different locations including ships, rail and pipelines are planned with the same software. Planning ranges from yearly planning over monthly planning to daily scheduling, all planning levels perfectly integrated. Planning decisions are taken in OMP Plus and seamlessly fed to the SAP environment. Products of the division include cracker products, industrial gases, alkylene oxides and glycols, solvents and plasticizers.
