Toyota Tsusho Corp - Japanese trader and group company of Toyota Motor Corp; will sell in Asia, including Japan, polyethylene to be produced from sugarcane by leading Brazilian petrochemical firm Braskem SA by 2011. Out of Braskem's total planned annual output of 200,000 tons, almost 25% will be sold by the Japanese trader for use in cosmetics packaging, plastic shopping bags and auto parts. Toyota Tsusho was one of the participants in the research and development program with Braskem for about three years, spending around 100 million yen.
