Co extrusion multi-layer technology - Multi-layer blow molding technology opens entirely new & future oriented markets. Far-sighted developments allow now, for the first time, the production of large volume containers and large surface area components with multiplayer wall structures specifically designed to meet the desired product requirements.
Our Co extrusion process offers
- Considerably reduced permeation rates for hydrocarbons
- Storage and transport of diffusive chemical products in large volume containers with special wall designs
- Greatly enhanced mechanical properties of tanks with multiplayer walls
- Large scale reuses of recycled materials in so-called recycle layers
We Supply discontinuous coex blow molding machines
- For 2 to 5 layers
- With 10 l to 400 l (=2.65 up to 106 gal. ) accumulator volume
- For 30 l up to 10,000 l (= 8 up to 2,640 gal. ) article volume
- With clamping force up to 6,000 kN
The Coex Accuhead - The Coex Accumulator head is designed for 2 up to 5 layer discontinuous co extrusion. The Coex heads work to the, "first in /first out" system. The melt guides are free or any obstructions completely preventing flow marks. The melt channels are sized to meet the individual material specs. The layer thickness of the individual material melts are corrected and optimized by means of built-in-adjustment sleeves.
