Standard machine with energy saving device:
The fixed displacement pump used by normal injection moulding machines is a cheap motor-driven pump which displaces a fixed quantity of fluid per unit time. When different pressure and/or fluid flow is required to drive the different movement of the machine, a PQ valve is used to drain excess fluid flow back into the oil reservoir. The energy used to move this excess fluids is lost as heat.

Until now, higher quality control - which requires better dynamics - could only be realized in conjunction with servo-solenoid valves. Thanks to the electro-hydraulic pump control, which reacts faster and has much shorter response times, direct integration in control circuits is now possible. Pressure, flow, velocity and horse-power control are also incorporated.

In practice, using the new pump brings advantages through its exact repetition accuracy. The result of this is improved quality as seen in the manufacture of plastics which demand special treatment.
