These plastics are used preferentially for housings and covers offering good toughness, strength, rigidity, dimensional stability and chemical resistance, as well as a good to excellent surface finish.
The chemical structure, based on the three starting components of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene, plus selected additives, constitutes a flexible modular system for creating product types to respond to specific market needs.
The range of grades includes not only general-purpose injection moulding grades and a large number of grades with an elevated heat resistance but also products for extrusion, chemical electroplating and special glass fibre reinforced grades.
