Pocan
An extensive range of grades with a broad spectrum of properties
Pocan is range of thermoplastic polyesters based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Pocan offers attractive basic properties such as high heat resistance, strength and hardness, excellent slip properties and high abrasion resistance, good resistance to chemicals and low susceptibility to stress cracking.
The resin's low moisture absorption ensures that molded parts undergo practically no dimensional or property changes.
Pocan is supplied in an extensive range of grades and colors that allow the processor to select precisely the material needed to meet the requirements of the intended application. Non-reinforced grades, grades with glass fiber reinforcement and glass sphere or mineral filled grades are all available.
Blends with PET, ABS or PC, and flame retardant and elastomer-modified grades are formulated to satisfy the demands of specific applications. Elastomer-modified grades offer significantly improved low-temperature impact strength.
The Pocan product line also includes a number of food-approved grades.
