Description
Apec is the name of a new range of co-polycarbonates based on bisphenol A - the key unit which forms the basis of Makrolon - and TMC bisphenol.
Depending on the quantities of bisphenol component, products are formed whose heat resistance increases with increasing TMC bisphenol content.
The resultant resins are amorphous, highly transparent thermoplastics which belong to the polycarbonate family.
