Bayblend is the product class of amorphous, thermoplastic polymer blends on the basis of polycarbonate and ABS.
Bayblend is available in:
• non-reinforced general purpose grades
• non-reinforced grades with flame retardant
• glass fiber reinforced grades
• special-purpose grades for specific application
Properties
• high impact and notched impact strength
• high stiffness
• heat resistance to 136 °C as per Vicat VST/B120
• high dimensional accuracy
• low tendency to warp
• low overall shrinkage
• light stability
• good processing properties
