It is time to draw the curtains on 2012's largest show for the global plastics industry - Plastindia 2012 to be held from 1st to 6th Feb at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This edition of plastemart.com newsletter is a curtain raiser to the mega show, offering an insight into whats new, what's different and what's bigger and better in the eighth edition of Plastindia.
All founder members of Plastindia Foundation were of the opinion that "high-end qualified and skilled manpower requirements of the Indian Plastics Industry need to be addressed for the Indian Plastics Industry needs to sustain its growth. Plastindia Foundation is moving ahead with one more successful step by collaborating with University of Wisconsin, Madison, and University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Spread over 700 square meters, Ampacet-Say YES to Plastics Pavilion will be located on the prime spot on the Lake at Pragati Maidan- opposite Hall 9, 10, 11, and 7. Using cutting edge technology to display high quality AV films along with computer generated animated movies; this will be the first of its kind at a business fair in the world. The pavilion has been developed around the concept of edutainment to drive home the message ‘there is no life without plastics’. The message is being conveyed using movie projections on larger than life screens, with supporting visual, sound and climate control aids. Groups of visitors will move from one room to another, each having a different theme related to plastics. Each room will have a different AV playing on large LED screens, totaling a 10-12 minute package of pure experience, which will leave one enthralled and truly entertained.
