Over 200 New Exhibitors Participate in Chinaplas 2009
 Chinaplas 2009's exhibition area reaches a new record of 140,000 sqm, 30% increase of Chinaplas 2007 in Guangzhou. Over 1,900 market players will exhibit at the fair, among which over 200 are first-time exhibitors, including Changsha Skyway, Fortune Precision, Forstar Precision, Huangyan Hengxin Mould, Kisco (H.K.), Kureha Corporation, Mobis Plastic, PTT Polymer. Concurrent E vent – Cross-Strait Plastics Industry Summit 2009 will be held in Guangzhou

After the success of China-US Plastics Industry Summit and China-India Plastics Industry Summit in Chinaplas 2008 and Chinaplas 2007 respectively, the Organizer will join hands with China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA), China Plastics Machine Industry Association, Taipei World Trade Centre (TAITRA), Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) and Guangdong Plastics Industry Association to organize “Cross-Strait Plastics Industry Summit 2009” this year.
The Summit will be held on 17 May at Guangzhou Asia International Hotel, Guangzhou to enhance cooperation and exchange of the plastics industry update in the Cross-Strait regions. Quality speakers will be invited to discuss and analyze the trade development and investment opportunities and renowned corporation CEO would share the experience on how to open up the both markets, e.g. Fu Chun Shin, Jiangsu Yoke, Huarong, Wuhan Huali. We welcome all practitioners from the plastics industry to join the Summit.

Guangdong Plastics Industry Association Foresees Enormous Opportunities in the Industry

Chinaplas 2009 Press Conference was held in Guangzhou on March 4. Mr. Fu An, President of Guangdong Plastics Industry Association, expressed that the Chinese government implemented numerous positive economic policies in the second half of 2008 to boost the domestic consumptions. In particular, the plan approved by the State Council to foster the light industry will bring in positive effects to the development of plastics industry in China. The gradual implementation of economic policy on various industries, such as, petrochemical, automotive, equipment manufacturing, textile, electronics, etc, will create vast business opportunities and new markets for plastics industry. Therefore, the show Organizer has doubled up the resources for buyer recruitment. For example, free 3-night hotel will be offered to qualified buyers. As a result, both exhibitors and visitors can achieve rewarding results from Chinaplas.
