FLEXO PRINTING PRESS
FOUR COLOUR 800 MM (WOVEN SACK) & UNWIND & REWIND MACHINE WITH CARONA TREATING EQUIPMENT
FOUR NO. PRINTING STATIONS :
Consists of Main Motor 5-hp. dc. 4 Nos. Stations includes 2 Nos. Reversible Stations, side frame construction of 30 mm thick mild steel plates, minimum and maximum cylinder repeat size of 400 mm to 1400 mm. Plate Cylinder shaft supported by Self Alignment bearings mounted on bearing housings on both sides and when in operation the Plate Cylinder is fixed in the bearing housing and are firmly locked on the ‘L’ Blocks mechanically, manual side lay (lateral) register adjustments by means of a screw type block on the operator side of the machine correction : ± 10 mm and vertical register adjustment by means of screw type shaft on the operator side of the machine correction :± 10 mm
EACH PRINTING DECK CONSISTS OF:
1 No. Anilox Roll of 300 # LPI duly balanced and Hard Chrome Plated.
1 No. Rubber Roll of 65-70-shore hardness suitable for NBA/IPA, duly Balanced.
1 No. Impression Roller duly Balanced, Grinded and Hard Chrome Plated.

All the above Rollers are interconnected with each other and are Gear driven.

Pressure for Inking Rollers to Anilox Rollers and Anilox Rollers to Plate Cylinders is provided through screw type shaft with sliding arrangements on the square and ‘L’ Blocks, Two Nos. Lock Nuts is provided to lock the printing deck while in operation.

1 No. Hydraulic Motor is provided for continuous rotation of inking rollers and 2 Nos. Hydraulic Cylinders are provided on each station for auto lift – off/on of Plate Cylinders being controlled by 1 No. Hydraulic Power Pack.

Immersion type inking system consists of 1 No. Mild Steel Ink Tray.

HEATING SYSTEM:
1 No. 3 hp. ac. blower inter connected with 14 kw heaters (1 kw each, encloy tube
with S. S. finns) fitted with heating chamber to supply hot air to distribution box
placed between printing stations for quick drying of inks. Individual air
controller for each station.

1 No. 1 hp. ac. blowers inter connected with 4 kw heaters for heating chamber
placed on the roof of the machine.

1 No. 3 hp. ac. Exhaust System

CONTROL PANEL:
1 No. Control Panel consists of following controls
* 1 No. DC Drive suitable for 5-hp.dc. (Main Motor)
* 1 No. DC Drive suitable for 3-hp.dc. (Rewind Motor)
* On – off switch for D.C. Motors.
* On – off switch for Blowers/Exhaust/Hydraulic Motors/Web Guiding System.
* Miniature Circuit Breakers.
* 1 No. Monitor & Controls of Auto Tension System
* 1 No. Main Motor Pot.
* 1 No. Rewind Motor Pot.
* 1 No. Inching switch. (Jogging).
* 1 No. Temperature Controller. (Digital).
* 1 No. Electronic Bag Counter. (Digital).
* 1 No. Two-step heating zone switch.
* Contactors and overload relays.
* 2 Nos. Emergency Stop.
* 1 No. Auto Stop for Break in Web.
UNWIND STATION:
Consist of 1 No. “Simplex” Hydraulic Unwind Station consists of one roll simplex reel stand of Center Winding Type, maximum reel outer diameter is 1000 mm, and maximum reel weight is 300 kgs. Unwinding shafts supported by bearing on both sides. Unwind Tension Controlled by 1 No. Automatic Tension Control Powder Brake with Load Cells. 1 No. Manual Centering Device, 1 No. Auto stop mechanism to stop the machine for the break in web and 1 No. Manual shaft for 76 mm core i.d. are provided. 1 No. Web Guiding System is provided on the bridge between the unwind station & the printing station.
REWIND STATION:
Consists of 1 No. “Surface” Rewind Station, maximum reel outer diameter is 1000 mm, and maximum reel weight is 300 kgs. Rewinding shaft supported by bearing on both sides. Rewind Tension Controlled by 1 No. 3 hp. dc. Motor duly synchronized with Main Motor. 1 No. Manual shaft with reel cones for 76 mm core i.d. is provided.

The Drive from printing frame to Rewinding frame is by means of shafts connected by 2 Nos. Gear Box one on each frame for smooth and long lasting performance.

One set of Plate Cylinder (40 CMS) duly Grinded and Hard Chrome Plated is provided with the machine.
