About Us
EnerPlastics is an SGS Certified ISO 9001:2008 Company, was established in June 2000 as an independent manufacturer of colour masterbatches and additive masterbatches, servicing the vast plastics converting industry in the region. In a remarkably short time, the company has managed to market its products to over 30 countries stretching to Europe, Africa, CIS, Middle East including the Persian Gulf Region and the Indian Subcontinent. EnerPlastics has partnered with many sole agents/distributors to stock and re-sell EnerPlastics products in the vast marketing territory, bringing the advantage of placing the Masterbatches at the doorstep of the customers. The success of EnerPlastics has been the flexibility to understand and meet the customer’s needs in the region and to respond rapidly to these requirements. The manufacturing lines are backed by state of the art testing and control facilities in a laboratory equipped to carry out R&D work and to provide independent testing services for third parties. Amongst others, the laboratory is equipped to carry out colour identification and matching using cutting edge computerized technology, accelerated weather testing, replicating most customer processes in lab scale and testing for the colouristic behavior in those finished products. A strong Technical Team in the Laboratory is waiting to service the technical requirements of regional customers.
The manufacturing facilities of EnerPlastics have recently been re-located to a custom built facility located in the Jebel Ali Industrial Area, opposite of the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone in Dubai. With Dubai already established as a break bulk and distribution centre for the region, shipping tonnage is extensively available for back-haul to virtually all parts of the world. Bringing together the logistics advantage with primary raw materials widely available in the Middle East Region, EnerPlastics is able to offer prompt and efficient supplies to all destination ports.
The future vision of EnerPlastics is seen as being a niche supplier of colour masterbatches and additive masterbatches, meeting the technical requirements of the ever growing plastics converting industry.

EnerPlastics supplies application focused colour masterbatches and additive masterbatches that are tailored for individual customer needs. These masterbatches are superior in terms of quality, adaptability, strength, dispersion, and closest to the colour which is required by the customer. The masterbatches are designed for a wide range of polymer resin applications such as
- Blown / Cast Film

Colour Matching

With the help of well-experienced technical personnel and sophisticated computerised colour-matching equipment, colour cabinet and advance software for colour identification and quality control, we are able to design a broad range of colours with precise accuracy. We also have the facility to develop required quantity of sample in our pilot plant with complete compounding facilities.
Colour consistency is guaranteed by our quality control department with the generation of our quality control reports from the spectrophotometer. Colour Measurement Overview
The apparent colour of a substance is directly related to its spectral characteristics which are specified by reflectance (or transmittance) as a function of wavelength. The spectrophotometer measures the spectral characteristics of a material at each wavelength in the visible spectrum then sends these data to the computer through a cable. The software then calculates all other important values based on the spectral reflectance data. The difference in absolute colour coordinates between a trial and a standard quantifies the colour difference between the two. These differences are called Deltas which may be positive or negative that has an effect on their interpretation.

Colour coordinates, differences, indices, and the like that are calculated with the existing mathematical models correspond reasonably well to visual assessment, under certain conditions. However, the conditions are usually quite limited; therefore the numerical results should always be interpreted along with visual assessment.
We at EnerPlastics use cutting edge spectrophotometers for colour measurement both in developing new colours for customers as well as achieving consistency in batch to batch production of colours. This computerized technology is aided by the highly experienced colourist technicians with a sharp eye for colour.

Research and Development

EnerPlastics strives to meet the demanding needs of its customers in the best possible quality and services available in the plastic colourant world. Our Quality Assurance department ensures that the products are developed and manufactured in accordance with defined quality standards meeting the customer's requirements. Consistency of products are verified throughout the manufacturing and post manufacturing quality control procedures in place, approved under the SGS ISO 9001:2000 certification system.
Our R&D department is composed of technically well trained persons with wide experience in plastic colourant and compounding technology. Our goal is to keep the highest level in the quality of our product through our Quality Assurance and Control Department, maintain consistency in our products by choosing the leading suppliers for pigments and additives and continually improve our range of products through our R&D Department, leading to the benefit of our customers in using our recommended products.
