As a responsible corporate citizen Inova also recycles HDPE LDPE and PP waste generated at its factories and at consumer end. Inova plans to double its woven bags capacity, raise its recycling capacity over 6 folds and triple its polybags capacity to retain its leadership position in eastern Africa. The group is also in the process of establishing a modern electrical and mechanical workshop to meet the needs of the plastics industry in eastern Africa. This will be done by technology transfer from global leaders.

The HDPE / PP / Raffia woven bags units are equipped with ultra modern machinery from Starlinger and other reputed global manufacturers. The plant located on the outskirts of Decrement, Ethiopia has an annual production capacity of 30 million bags. The company has placed orders for new machinery to double the capacity to over 60 million bags.
To complement its range for general packaging Inova Polybags manufactures over 2000 tons of HDPE and LDPE shopping bags, carry bags, t- shirt bags and liners. The plant is equipped with modern printing machines to offer up to 8 colour printed bags.
