The Topmet 2450 Hires has additional accessories/devices such as Pre-Plasma Treatment and E-charge. E-charge is used to flatten the film at the cooling drum surface during metallizing, this gives enhance cooling and reduce the tramlines significantly, especially for CPP film.
The machine also has 2 Polycold, one in evaporation zone and one in winding zone.

High Precision Winding-System
Digital winding. automatic friction compensation, different rewind techniques, AC-Servo-drives
Bowed Spreader Rollers
The altitude of the bow relative to the web can be adjusted during coating by motor drives.
lndication of the position is shown on the process monitor.
Pivoting Coating Drum Shielding
The complete coating drum shielding can be pivoted by 90" into service position for ease of
adjustement and cleaning.
High Uniformity Evaporator Station
Thermal evaporator for resistance heated inter-metallic composite boats.
Patented staggered boat arrangement with end clamping for highest coating thickness uniformity.
The clamps are well engineered to minimize maintenance. Continuous Aluminum wire feed system Excellent visibility with cylinder stroboscope.
Process Control
State of the art integrated process control system {PLC-system) with full graphic color monitor (Window technique) and visualization based on PC-technology.
Display includes graphics, process parameters and information tables. Collection of operation parameters.
Detailed computer diagnosis for maintenance and service.
