A.C. Variable Frequency drive for main motor is provided with detachable keyboard & digital display for screw RPM, Ampere of the motor.
Speed Adjustment is provided with precision 10 turn potentiometer with
dial for better accuracy.
Tooling mounting on barrel flange is with hinge arrangement for quick
opening & screw dismantling for cleaning. This also helps in replacing
breaker plate with screen easily and rapidly.
The equipment is supplied with one extra breaker plate of S.S. The cleaning of screw operation can be done by a single person including opening, cleaning and refitting within 10 to 15 minute time.
Screw can be pulled out from front by pushing rod from back side, through hollow shaft of gear box. Screw has a spline type end fitting in to drive mandrel.
It has a slide type flap to control the feed from hopper to extruder.Barrel feed opening approx. 1.5 flight of the screw, which is approx. 40mm x 25mm elliptical shape.
Hopper is of S.S. 304 of 7 Ltrs. Volume approx. It is provided with air
vibrator in case of powder or sticking material application.
To remove left material, hopper can be easily dismantled. There is a small side opening given for easy and quick removal of material.
The extruder frame is mounted on four caster wheel with level screw
arrangement to secure it rigidly on floor. Frame is made of aluminum
extruded profile.
The control panel has a desk type shape, which comprises of all switch
gears and electrical connections, operation and maintenance.
Thermocouple to measure process temperature is J Type, FE/K constant with spring to adjust the holding pressure and S.S. Construction and with S.S. shield Teflon coated fiberglass wire for better life and reliability.
