Flexible PVC reinforced tubing line. Line consists of (2) 3.5" American Kuhne single screw extruders, each 24/1 L/D. Extruder models are AK 350. Serial #1301 is equipped with Allen Bradley AC inverter 380/460 volt, 50/60 herz. Extruder serial #1305 is equipped with Emerson drive, 380/480 volt. Each extruder is driven by a 75 HP AC motor, 230/460 volt. Motors are belt driven to gearbox with 17.65/1 ratio. Gearbox is rated at 150 HP with 1.6 service factor at 1752 RPM input. Extruders are electrically heated, air cooled, include hoppers with top center feed throat, nomintal 4"x6" dimension. Feed throats are water cooled. Each extruder equipped with temperature control panel, (7) barrel zones, (3) die zones and melt temperature, melt pressure and clamp pressure. Each equipped with cross head dies (serial #1301 equipped with vacuum pump for jacketed layer on tubing). Downstream includes conair 11" x 12" x 16' vacuum sizer, model mt105-16-4, serial #159410.
