70mm Buss approximately KoKneader with 11/1 L/D driven by a 60HP DC motor 1750/2100 RPM and SCR control.
Has a 10.5/1 gear box ratio, a jacketed barrel with (2) 18KW Sterlco Hot oil heater, dual crammer feeder for primary feed throat and additive throat.
Kneader discharges into a Buss SSD100 Approx 100mm Buss hot feed extruder with 5/1 L/D, with jacketed barrel and (2) Sterlco hot oil heater.
Mounted on the hot melt extruder is a hot cut pelletizer, pneumatic conveyor blower and an SS air cooled chamber for pellet cooling.
Operator controls, motor drives, and (3) Ktron feeders .
