150 Leading importers from over 30 countries dealing in products such as FRP, FIBC, Films & Sheets, Consumer & Homeware, Writing instruments, etc have already signed up for the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) being organized under the Department of Commerce, Govt of India, MAI Scheme. Registrations continue to receive stupendous response.
The soon to be held PLEXCONNECT 2023, a dedicated trade exhibition being organized for the Indian plastics export industry from June 15-17, 2023 by The Plastics Export Promotion Council of India (Plexconcil) has been gaining quick recognition from global buyers of plastics.
PLEXCONNECT 2023 which will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), in Mumbai is the first ever export focused exhibition for plastics in India.
Poised to become an important event in the international event calendar for plastics, the planned RBSM will feature 600 select international buyers from 100+ countries who are being invited to network and conduct trade with Indian plastics exporters during the exhibition. To ensure the perfect setting for Indian participants to network and collaborate with the international buyers, the RBSM will feature Dedicated one-to-one meetings to ensure the right buyer-seller match.
For the MSME sector and upcoming exporters, this premier showcase has been envisaged as the ideal platform to witness & experience business practices on a global scale. Focused on promoting MSME exports from the country in line with the Govt’s vision, the exhibition has been especially designed for MSME & new exporters to observe and learn about global trends and demand for Indian plastics, along with myriad benefits of becoming an exporter.
In addition to fourteen (14) finished product categories that will be on showcase, PLEXCONNECT 2023 will also feature machinery, and manufacturers of moulds and dies. The exhibition will also feature State Pavilions to showcase the export capabilities of India’s widespread manufacturing clusters and more, making it the most comprehensive platform for International buyers to fully explore the Indian industry’s manufacturing & export prowess.
PLEXCONNECT 2023 is supported by the Ministry of Commerce, DCPC as well as the MSME Ministry.
ABOUT PLEXCONCIL
The Plastics Export Promotion Council (PLEXCONCIL) – which acts as a bridge between the Industry and the Government - was established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India on 15th July, 1955, as a non-profit organisation. It was one of several Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) launched by the Government to project India's image abroad as a reliable supplier of high-quality products in order to give a boost to the country’s exports.
PLEXCONCIL is the apex body of the plastics industry in India and represents over 2,500 exporters who manufacture/export plastics products ranging from plastics raw materials to semi-finished and finished items. The Council has its headquarters in Mumbai, and regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Ahmedabad,
Products from the Indian plastics industry are exported to over 200 countries across the globe.
