I am pleased to share some views on plastic extrusion after my first trip to India, where I met a few of the leading extrusion processors.  American Maplan (AMC) is part of  the   SMS Plastics Technology Group,   representing some of the best known  brands in extrusion.     As I have learnt during my visit, the potential for extrusion in India is extremely positive. The opportunities for infrastructure installation growth predictions are certainly impressive. The United States loses over 9.1 billion liters of treated water daily. The ill-advised choices of traditional piping materials are already causing significant problems and wasting a precious resource. In India too, we need to ensure that the correct choices are made for the superior extruded plastic piping products.
