Downward revision of PVC price hike for April in Italy

In Italy, a trader who initially asked for €20/ton increases for Central European PVC offers has down revised April offers to rollovers or €10/ton increases from March in line with most sellers in the spot market who have preferred to hold their prices steady in May, as per Chemorbis. The trader offers Polish PVC k67 at €750-760/ton, Polish PVC k70, k58 and Czech k64 at €810-820/ton FD North Italy, 90 days deferred payment. The high end of the offer ranges, which are mostly formed by Central European origins, is not seeing much interest amid comfortable supply and unsatisfactory end product orders of buyers. Several regular West European sources have approached the market with rollovers this month, maintaining their competitive stances. The overall spot market level is reported at €750-810/ton for k67 and €790-840/ton for k70 with the same terms. Players feel that there is pressure particularly at the high end of the k70 range.
