The government has asked Formosa Plastics Group to implement rotating shutdowns of facilities at Mailiao petrochemical complex, as per Dow Jones Newswires. Though this will allow the Taiwanese major to complete safety checks by next August, the process that will likely dent the company's output in the coming months.
