Iran's largest PVC complex to be operational from December

As per the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Iran's largest PVC manufacturing unit is expected to come on stream in Khuzestan province in December. The unit, which is currently in its pre-operation stage, will have a total PVC production capacity of 2.8 mln tpa and will also produce products including ethylene, sodium hydroxide, chlorine, ethylene dichloride, mono ethylene and others. The products of this PVC complex will be used in the production of items such as various kinds of pipes for liquids and chemical material, various types of plastic sheets for manufacturing films, cables, household utensils and artificial fibres.
