Crude oil has moved up in Asia as the market awaits weekly inventory data in the US. Asian naphtha prices opened steady on Wednesday according to ICIS pricing. H1- June price indications were pegged at US$443-446/ton CFR (cost and freight) Japan, H2-June prices at US$440.50-443.50/ton CFR Japan and H1-July at US$439-442.00/ton CFR Japan.
ICIS reports that midweek, benzene prices remained at $570-580/ton FOB (free on board) Korea despite an overnight hike in crude values to above US$48/bbl. Offers for June parcels at $588-590/ton FOB Korea were countered by bids at $560-571/ton FOB Korea.
