Philippines' largest oil refiner Petron Corp plans to restart its refinery some time in February. The 180,000 bpd refinery has been shut since December for maintenance, initially expected to last for just a month. An extended time was required as it also involved preparations for the tie-in of Petron's petrochemicals facility to its catalytic generator, due for commissioning in Q1-09.
