Russia's largest autonomous gas producer, Novatek has started Phase-2 of its Purovsky refinery in Urals region of Russia amid others including energy giant Sibur taming production due to decline in demand. The company's Purovsky refining plant will up the capacity production of nation's gas condensate by a massive 20%, one of the major feedstocks for petrochemicals. In 2- 3 years, the new plant is expected to twice the gas condensate production.
