This is AMI's 6th Wood Plastics Composites conference and the event is now well-established as the leading European and international event. AMI expects over 200 participants from over 30 countries and 6 continents, providing the most international context with which to understand the industry. The conference will take place from 14-16 October 2008 at the Renaissance Penta Vienna Hotel in Vienna, Austria. The conference sessions will be simultaneously translated into German and Italian. A practical demonstration organised at headline sponsor's Cincinnati Extrusion's Headquarters in Vienna will take place on the 16th October. These demonstrations have proven very popular in the past as participants can see in practice how the lines are running in a production context. The market for wood plastic composites is developing rapidly in Europe, enabled by a series of developments in production technology as well as improved marketing programmes and yet the European market is still only a fraction of the size of its potential. The conference is an ideal place for newcomers to the industry to find out more about this market and for all the experts of the industry to get together and find out about all the latest developments.
