UNIPETROL, a.s. has announced an unplanned shutdown of its steam cracker in Litvinov due to a technical issue. The plant will be shut for approximately 9 days starting from 19 September 2009. A technical glitch at the polypropylene unit will effect the polyethylene units as well. Deliveries to our customers will be covered from company stocks.
