Haldia Petrochemicals’ capacity expansion project - Supermax is nearing completion, with production likely to start production over the weekend. Upon stabilization of production within a month, HPL’s polymer making capacity will increase by 30%. Afte an initial cost estimate of Rs 675 crores three years ago, HPL finally invested almost Rs 1,200 crore in implementing Project Supermax.
