In a bid to cope with subdued demand amid an imminent economic slowdown, Japan's number 3 refiner- Idemitsu Kosan Co, Japan's has reduced run rates by 20-25% at two naphtha crackers with 997,000 tpa ethylene capacity, since the turn of the month.
