India's MRPL awards EPC contract for Phase-3 expansion program

Mangalore Refinery Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC, has awarded a contract approximately worth US$100 mln to Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for EPC management consultancy services for a Crude Distillation/Vacuum Distillation project. The project, which entails the Crude Distillation Unit/Vacuum Distillation unit, LPG treatment, and ATF merox unit, forms a part of the company's Phase III expansion program at refining complex in Mangalore (India).
