Major overhaul underway at Yangtze Petrochemical’s ethylene unit

Yangtze Petrochemical has started a major overhaul of its ethylene unit – the first since 2002. Yangtze Petrochemical has an annual crude oil refining capacity of 9 million metric tons, ethylene production capacity of 700,000 metric tons, a 1.4 mln tpa aromatic hydrocarbon unit, a 1.05 mln tpa PTA unit and a 300,000 tpa glycol unit.
