Merquinsa North America has announced a price increase of US$ 0.17 per pound for all TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) product lines for the NAFTA region. The increase will be effective May 1, 2008 or as contracts allow.
Despite Merquinsa's continuous productivity efforts, the price increase is required to help offset the continued rising costs of hydrocarbons and raw materials used to manufacture products.
Customers interested in learning more about the price increase should contact their local Merquinsa North America sales representative.
Merquinsa is a leading thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) specialty producer, providing innovative products for injection molding, extrusion, calendering, melt coating, compounding and adhesives applications.
