CFR Asia EDC prices have been boosted to US$200/MT by stronger PVC market outlook and prices. As buying was concluded at these levels, sellers have moved to increase offers by about 50 dollars. VCM prices have crossed the 600 dollar mark in Asia, in line with the improving PVC market sentiments and strengthening downstream demand and prices. Offers for March shipment, hiked by about 20 dollars higher, await buying interest. It seems that as demand improves, higher prices will prevail in VCM markets, leading to efforts to move US deep-sea cargoes into Asia.
