SONGWON Industrial Group, the second largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers in the world, is once again exhibiting at this year’s Chinaplas in Shanghai, China. The company will be showcasing its solutions designed to match industry needs, including light and heat stabilizers, antioxidants, thermoplastic polyurethanes, PVC stabilizers and plasticizers.
A special highlight at the show, SONGNOX® IB Antioxidant Blends will be presented for the first time. Each blend is tailor-made for one customer and specifically addresses that customer’s needs. “These products are particularly suited to the Chinese market,” said Min Tian, Country Head China, SONGWON Industrial Group. “SONGWON has developed them using its own formulation expertise, which is based on long-standing knowhow and experience.”
SONGWON will be showing its SONGSTOMER™ TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) solutions which have been developed to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of high-end markets ranging from films and sheets to cables and wires. The company will also introduce two new ranges: SONGSTAB™ CaZn stabilizers are alternatives to lead stabilizers in PVC cable applications and SONGSTAB™ liquid BaZn stabilizers are environmentally compatible solutions for flexible suspension PVC and plastisol applications.
Besides discovering the new SONGNOX® IB Blends, and the latest innovative SONGSTAB™ PVC Stabilizers and SONGSTOMER™ TPU Grades, visitors to the show can find out more about SONGWON’s SONGNOX® Stabilizers and OPS Blends, SONGSORB® and SABO®STAB Light Stabilizers, SONGXTEND® Stabilizer Solutions, KUMANOX™ Antioxidants, and SONGCIZER™ Plasticizers.
SONGWON’s commitment to becoming a leading additive supplier to the Chinese plastics industry is underlined by its partnership in two joint ventures in China. “Songwon Qingdao Long Fortune Chemicals Co., Ltd. supplies SONGWON’s complete range of polymer stabilizers and manufactures one pack system (OPS) customizable solutions for Chinese polyolefin producers. Songwon Baifu Chemicals (Tangshan) Co., Ltd. is a top producer of thioester stabilizers. Full backward integration into key raw materials ensures consistent supply of high quality end products to the Chinese and global markets.
“With our long experience in the production and supply of chemicals and our local presence, we offer our Asian customers an extensive range of high value products and solutions to help them gain competitive edge,” said Elena Scaltritti, Leader Business Unit Polymer Stabilizers. “They benefit from manufacturing excellence achieved through our backward integration into key raw materials and economies of scale. We are also strongly committed to providing them with top quality services and support.”
